Balochistan AG sacked

QUETTA, June 26: The Governor of Balochistan, Justice (retd) Amirul Mulk Mengal, removed Mohammad Ashraf Khan Tanoli, from his position as Advocate-General Balochistan, with immediate effect.

This was officially announced in a notification issued by Secretary Law, Imtiaz Hussain, on Wednesday night. No reason has been as given for Tanoli’s removal.

Earlier, the governor had appointed Ashraf Khan Tanoli, as Advocate-General Balochistan, despite opposition from the lawyers’ community of the province.
