HYDERABAD, Jan 10: DIG police Hyderabad zone Sanaullah Abbasi has asked DPO Hyderabad Ghulam Nabi Memon to conduct investigation of a criminal case, lodged by district nazim Tando Allahyar Dr. Rahila Gul Magsi following alleged criminal trespass into her office by PPP MPA, DCO and DPO Tando Allahyar and others in November.

Such information was submitted before the Additional District Judge-II Hyderabad, who was seized of an application filed by the district nazim, seeking investigation of her case by an honest and independent officer other than from Tando Allahyar district. After such intimation was brought on record before the court here on Saturday, Ayatullah Khawaja, the counsel for district nazim didn’t press his application. He had cited DIG Hyderabad as one of the respondents in his client’s application.

Tando Allahyar police had lodged a case against PP Parliamentarians MPA Imdad Pitafi, DCO Tando Allahyar Pervez Ahmed Seehar, DPO Tando Allahyar Imtiaz Tunio, PPP leaders Sattar Bachani and Zulfikar Sattar Bachani and others on the compliant of District Nazim Tando Allahyar Dr. Rahila Magsi vide crime no 273/08 under sections 147, 148, 149, 384, 504 PPC.

The registration of case was ordered by ADJ-II after an application was filed by district nazim that police had refused to lodge her FIR.

She claimed that the accused had issued threats to her of dire consequences and occupied her office in district government secretariat on November 6 forcibly while she was not present there. She claimed that important documents had been taken away by them from her office.

The investigating officer of the case had said on the last date of hearing that no such offence had taken place.

The court had asked applicant’s counsel to submit case law to support his contention that case’s investigation could be transferred. The counsel, however, didn’t press his application when the letter of DIG Hyderabad, asking DPO Hyderabad to investigating case, was brought on record of ADJ-II.
