KARACHI: A judicial magistrate on Tuesday remanded two suspects in the custody of Customs for questioning in a narcotic substances case.

The Customs officials submitted that they arrested Sanaullah and Imran Khan from a passenger bus in Mochko area and allegedly recovered 1.8kg crystal meth, also known as ice, from their possession.

The investigating officer contended that during initial interrogations, the suspects disclosed information about their handlers. He sought custody of the suspects for questioning and to arrest their handlers.

A judicial magistrate (West) handed them over to the IO on two-day physical remand and directed him to produce them again on the next hearing along with a progress report.
