NORTH WAZIRISTAN: Bullet-ridden bodies of two teenagers and a vendor were recovered from different areas of North Waziristan tribal district on Friday, police and residents said.

The police said bodies of two teenagers carrying bullet marks were recovered from Khaisur Alikhel area of Mirali subdivision. The deceased were identified as Sameedullah, 16, and Tufail Umar, 17. Both belonged to Khushali Wazir area.

A police official said the case was apparently an incident of targeted killing. However, the real motive would be determined after investigation in the case, he added.

Another case of targeted killing was reported from Datakhel tehsil near the Afghan border, and the deceased hailed from Mohmand tribal district.

According to the police, the body of Qasim, a vendor, was recovered from Lend Saidabad area.

The body was brought to the district headquarters hospital and was handed over to legal heirs after postmortem. The man was a street vendor, selling kitchen items in the area.
