ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Development Company (OGDCL) on Wednesday said it will inject Mela-7 — its fifth well producing 427 barrels per day (bpd) of crude oil and five million cubic feet per day (MMCFD) gas — in the national transmission network within a period of two weeks.

The well, located in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Kohat district, has been successfully tested, completed and injected into production stream, a press release issued by the company said. Gas production from well is being supplied into the main grid of Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited’s transmission network.
