As the number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan continues to increase, the federal and provincial governments are taking every measure they can to restrict the virus from spreading without inflicting too much damage on an already unstable economy.

A lockdown has been imposed in almost all parts of the country to limit the spread of the virus by practicing social distancing.

So far, there are 1,664 confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus in the country. At least 21 have died while 28 have recovered, according to official figures.
