While all of Pakistan in wrapped up in the Pakistan Super League, Shaan wants to remind us all that Pakistan's women cricket team is out to represent as well!

The actor shared his appreciation for the team which is participating in the Women's T20 World cup at the moment.

Said Shaan, "You played like a lioness .you played for the country and won our hearts."

Shaan also gave a shout-out to bowler Diana Baig, calling her a lioness.

He added in another Tweet, "Women in green, so proud of you for bringing us pride honour and joy. Keep shining."

He went on to say, "PCB must support the women’s cricket in Pakistan... more women’s domestic cricket... a new tournament should be announced. Fatima Jinnah cup equivalent to Quaid-e-Azam trophy."

No arguments there! It's good to see the women's cricket team get the recognition it deserves.

Women Cricket must be equally supported by PCB men cricket. We cannot advance in any field of life without equal participation of women. Please Support the talent and good things no matter where it comes from which gender, race, religion, color. Make a habit to spread the good and stop the bad. This is the foundation of Nations Strength. Pakistan Zindabaad.

Great to have them represent all of Pakistan, they are so worthy and inspirational for the next generation, despite many adversities for the country; smile and carry on, well done!
