Bollywood celebrities are raising their voices against the communal violence that has encapsulated Delhi.

More protests against the contentious Citizenship Amendment Act began on a smaller scale on Sunday but escalated on Monday and Tuesday where rioters armed with stones, swords and even guns were out in force.

The death toll from deadly communal violence in New Delhi rose to 20 on Wednesday with 200 others wounded.

Many took to Twitter to speak out against the brutality and ruthlessness.

They shared their dismay

While many made a call for action

And some fear what's to come

The ways things are going, it seems that the army might be deployed to take out the "foreign fighters" permanently. If only India had a proper population plan then it would not have come this.

Not only the Bollywood the whole Maharashtra, Punjab, Haryana, Kashmir, W.Bengal , Assam, are not in favour of CAA. BJP is totally frustrated, and finding way out. But there’s not a breathing space for BJP when economic crunches are noose tightening quite hard. Earlier exercise of census was a complete waste of Rs 1300 crores, all went in pockets of BJP supported contractors, which failed in their duty, and thousands of genuine Indians declared as aliens, the whole of India recounting exercise will be yet another failure.

Modi reflects the belief system of the majority of India's citizens; hence he's in power. These people promoting peace are in a negligible minority.

Indian celebrities are so much in fear of the goverment, that while condemning the violence they still dont blame the BJP RSS. It's sad, even on social media they dont fully express themselves.

Tweets and Facebook postings are not enough, privileged class must come on to streets and take action. stop giving money to these blood thirsty RRS and like minded people. I have known many Hindus who would stand against such madness perpetrated in the name of Hindu religion, please do some thing meaningful.

Whatever they say it doesn't change the situation. The rulers of India are Hindu-Terrorists. When a Muslim does that is terrorism. When a Hindu does that is crime.

Have these guys ever asked them why these violent protests happened the day when President Trump was visiting Delhi. It was India’s prestige and these guys with their instigators never paid a penny worth of respect to India’s image. It had created a bad image for the Delhi Muslim youths in Canada and US. A lot of people here think that these disturbances were planned long back and were cynical.

Bollywood celebrities continued silence until now speaks volumes for itself. They are all scared, gutted, happy over what's happening around in india against Muslims. They can speak for that but they are money making machines and they will short from lot of fans depending on which side they are. Money talks big than humanity.

Some 40 years ago, a US president during his foreign visit to an Asian country lauded that country's king for a superb peace and harmony that existed in that country. In fact that country's people were being annihilated by the king. Only a few months later, the president was not re-elected, and the king of that Asian country was sent into exile. Yes, I am talking about President Jimmy Carter, and Shah of Iran. Sometimes the history loves it so much that it might like to repeat itself.
