Karachi: Local one-tola and 10 grams gold price hit new peak of Rs96,300 and Rs82,562 on Monday, showing a jump of Rs2,000 and Rs1,715, respectively.

All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association quoted $40 per ounce jump in world gold rate to $1,684, which also impacted the domestic prices.

Gold prices continue to break new records amid reports of coronavirus spreading outside China which may cause serious economic impact.
