MIANWALI: A woman who had gone missing in the Qamar Mushani police limits in Isakhel tehsil six months ago was actually killed by her brother-in-law for not arranging his marriage with her younger sister.

Fatehullah had filed a complaint on Feb 12, saying his sister Nasim Bibi, 35, had been missing since September 2019. Naseem’s husband Ziaullah and his brother Shafaullah could not give him satisfactory reply about her whereabouts. He got registered a complaint against them and they were arrested by police.

Shafaullah confessed to killing Nasim and identified the place where he had buried her.
