THATTA: A woman and her two children burned to death when their thatched house in Mohammad Hassan Mondo village located on the outskirts of Thatta city caught fire on Thursday morning.

The victims were identified as Shabana, 35, a widow, her son, Hasnain, and daughter, Suhai.

Shabana’s brother-in-law Saddam Manchari also sustained 90 per cent burns on his body. He was rushed to the Civil Hospital Karachi, where his condition was stated to be critical.

The deceased were buried in the Chilya graveyard after funeral, which was attended by MPA Riaz Shah Shirazi and a large number of mourners.
