LAKKI MARWAT: A man was killed and his nephew sustained bullet wounds when they were attacked by their rivals near Paakhel area in tribal subdivision here on Thursday.

Complainant Zafar Khan, who was also injured in the attack, told police that he and his uncle Rehman Gul were attacked when they were going to Paakhel from Shadikhel on a motorcycle.

He stated that the attackers, including Shehzada Khan, Shabeer Mohammad, Aslam and Humayun, opened fire on them. He said that he received a bullet injury in his leg while his uncle died instantly.

The complainant told police that his family had a blood feud with the alleged attackers. Police said that they had registered the case and started investigations.
