LAHORE: As many as 25 people, including two drivers, were injured, three of them seriously, in a head-on collision between two vans near Bhobatian Chowk on Defence Road on Saturday.

A police official said the accident occurred when one of the van drivers was violating one-way rule. As a result, the passengers of both the buses sustained injuries.

The Rescue 1122 shifted the injured people to hospitals where the condition of three of them was said to be serious.

The police reached the site and started investigations.
