Jada Pinkett Smith has made her love for Abida Parveen known before but that wasn't the end of it.

The actor attended a concert of the iconic Sufi musician and fell in love all over again with the maestro. Can you blame her?

Wrote Smith, "My night with my spiritual mother. Abida Parveen is one I won't forget. I see my path."

And of course, she did not miss the chance to meet up with Parveen and can you tell how excited she is?

Previously, Jada had shared Abida Parveen and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan's rendition of 'Chaap Tilak' and referred to the two as "two of my favorite vocalists of Sufi music."

Abida Parveen is a force to be reckoned with and we love that she has fans all over the world.

As Pakistan is the country which is the historical base for all the big sufis who spread the message of Islam of peace and love, the beauty and human message of Sufism is needed more than ever. Not to mention that our PM Imran Khan himself is an ardent sufi believer and therefore is facilitating peace all over the region.

IIRC Jada Pinkett is Will Smith's wife. They're good people of Hollywood, nice.

Glad to see Parveen getting recognition in the West. Ive been a musician for 30 years and music has lost its magic, except Abida, she is the one of the only vocalists in the world that makes me feel trancendant and emotional and brings the magic back like it was in my youth. Abida and Bob Marley are the only two musicians I never get tired of listening to every day.

@Saira Don't promote the Western ideology against Islam. West is currently convinced that Sufism is the only way to follow owing to it's peaceful history. Only the peaceful part is true here but Sufism is not Islam and moderate true Islam is not violent. Sufism is an exaggerated expression of one's thoughts and beliefs which were never described and explained in similar ways by the one (saws) who spread the pure message of Islam. Your PM follows Sufism what has that got to do anything. Has your PM led a life that can be made an example of? It's only because of people like you that we are referred to as grave-worshippers and dancers when both of the aforementioned acts have nothing to do with Islam. As an art Abida Parween has earned respect and it shows. That's where we stop. Don't mix art with religion.
