PESHAWAR: The missing black bear cub was found at an abandoned place adjacent to the Peshawar Zoo on Saturday after a two-day search operation in the surrounding localities, an official said.

He said the cub was recovered from an alley outside the zoo, adding claw marks of the cub were detected in the cattle pen of a man late Friday night.

He said food was placed at locations in the vicinity to attract the cub, adding zoo staff located the animal at an abandoned alley early Saturday morning.

The three-month-old cub went missing on Thursday.
