OVER a month ago, I forwarded a complaint on the PM’s citizens’ portal regarding the massive rise in property tax, water charges (200 per cent) by the Capital Development Authority.
I received a message that the complaint had been registered and marked to the relevant department. I am still waiting and to date there is no response.
I have a hunch that perhaps this portal is meant to give people a psychological assurance and hope that their problem/issue will soon be resolved.
In the long-run, this attitude will certainly erode the people’s faith in such forums.
