ISLAMABAD: Top seed Mohammad Abid comfortably tamed his opponent Irfanullah Khan on the opening day of the SNGPL All Pakistan Ranking Tennis Championship.

Abid defeated Irfanullah in straight sets 6-3, 6-1 in the first round of the main singles category held on Sunday night. The tournament is being played under artificial lights which were recently installed at the PTF Tennis Complex.
