MARDAN: Thirty-five girl students were injured when roof of a religious seminary’s veranda collapsed in Dubai Adda area here on Monday.
Officials at religious seminary said the students were taking classes when roof of veranda collapsed.
Personnel of Rescue-1122 rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to the district headquarters hospital, Mardan.
The officials said most of the students belonged to poor families.
After the incident, local residents demanded of the government to construct a proper building of the seminary.
