TAXILA: As many as 13 people, including a minor, were killed in separate incidents in Attock on Saturday.

Two teenagers lost their lives after their motorcycles collided with each other while doing stunts near Pind Bahadur Khan. The deceased were identified as Mohammad Akram, 18, and Hasrat Ali, 17.

Zahid Khan, 19, died after his motorcycle hit a footpath due to speeding in the limits of Hazro police.

An 18-year-old boy was killed after being hit by a train at Lawrancepur railway station.

Umair Shahid, a resident of Kamra, was taking selfie when a Peshawar-bound passenger train hit him. The injured was taken to the hospital where he died.

A seven-year-old boy shot dead his three-year-old brother while playing in his house in Pind Mehri village in the limits of Hassanabdal police.

Safdar Khan reported to the police that his son Hanif Elahi was playing with his brother Rehmat Elahi when he took out a loaded 30-bore pistol lying in the house and shot Elahi dead.

In another incident in the area of the same police, a man was shot dead over an old enmity in Ghershen village.

Police said Syed Ameen was sleeping in his house when Juma Gul and Daud Gul entered the house after scaling the wall and shot him dead.

Zahroon Bibi, wife of the deceased, told the police that they had shifted to the area from Afghanistan a few years ago.

The attackers suspected that the deceased had killed their brother Zareef Gul in Afghanistan three years ago.

The body of a police constable was found from his rented room in Meharpura, Attock. The police opened the door of the room after foul smell started coming out of it.

The deceased was identified as Noman Ahmed. The cause of death could not be ascertained.

A car recklessly driven by an unidentified man hit and killed a man who was crossing G.T. Road near Lawrencepur. The deceased was identified as Khan Afsar, 31.

Four people, two of them belonging to the same family, drowned in Indus River near Attock Khurd.

Zaliab Masih along with his cousin Shahrawan Masih had gone to the river from Islamabad where they drowned.

Another man, Rukhsar Ali, also drowned while swimming in the river.

In the Hazro police limits, a 16-year-old boy identified as Afnan Khan drowned while swimming in the same river.

In another incident, Mohammad Ismail, 18, died of electric shock in Narra village in the limits of Jand police.

A woman was shot dead by a man in Malikabad area of Wah Saddar police on Saturday.
