Eat that frog!

Published April 22, 2019

MOTIVATIONAL public speaker and self-development author Brain Tracy, asks in his book Eat That Frog! if one is forced to eat a frog daily, which time of the day will you select to do this deed?

He goes on to answer the question by stating that the best time to ‘eat that frog’ is in the morning. His logic: this frog best describes a difficult task or unpleasant piece of work that one is postponing or putting off till one can no longer do so.

If one takes up a difficult task in the morning and gets it over with, the person will feel better the whole day.

Medical science has also proved that if you do a difficult piece of work, your body releases a substance ‘endorphin’ which makes you feel relaxed and lighter.

Thus if one eats a frog in the morning, in this manner everyone will be comfortable throughout the day.
