PESHAWAR: The supply of natural gas will remain suspended for six hours in different parts of the provincial metropolis on Sunday (today) due to shifting of a main pipeline from BRT route in the busy Hashtnagri area on the GT Road.

According to a statement issued here on Saturday, the gas supply would remain suspended from 9am to 3pm on account of shifting of 12-inch pipeline from the bus route.

It was stated that the gas suspension would cause inconvenience to the consumers on Warsak Road, Charsadda Road, Pijagi Road, Lady Reading Hostel, Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited colony, Nauthia and adjacent localities.

The gas company has asked consumers to keep the gas appliances off during the gas suspension period to avoid any sort of mishap.
