RAWALPINDI: As many as six Pakistani deportees – five from Turkey and one from Germany--were taken into custody by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) after their arrival on Friday and shifted to anti-human trafficking cell for further investigation.

Five Pakistanis were arrested by Turkish police for illegally entering into their country and were deported to Pakistan amid tight security on a Turkish Airlines flight.

According to the authorities, the five individuals had been kept by the Turkish in detention centres.

Another Pakistani who had been residing illegally in Germany also arrived on Friday via Qatar Airways flight.

On reaching at Islamabad International Airport, he was taken into custody by the FIA officials who shifted him to the passport cell for further investigations.
