ISLAMABAD: Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad (MCI) will host a meeting of Administrative Council of Organisation of Islamic Capitals and Cities next year.

According to a press release, mayors and representatives of member cities of Islamic countries will participate in the meeting.

It said Mayor Sheikh Anser Aziz in a recently concluded 32nd Session of Administrative Council of Organisation of Islamic Capitals and Cities (OICC) meeting in Djibouti invited the member countries to the meeting.

The mayor said MCI was made member of the financial and administrative committee during the 32nd session. Other members of the committee are Makkah, Muscat, Ankara and OICC Secretariat.

The mayor said Islamabad would benefit from the expertise of the participating cities.
