This is a rich and moist chocolate mug cake with a very special flavour — of peanut butter. Yes, peanut butter isn’t only for sandwiches, it tastes super yummy in cakes too, like this mug cake. And if you are really crazy about these nuts, then you can add crushed peanuts for a more crunchy effect.

Ingredients

• 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

• 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

• 2 tablespoons brown sugar

• 1/4 teaspoon baking powder

• 1/4 cup milk

• 2 tablespoon peanut butter

• 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

• 1 tablespoon mini chocolate chips

Method

In a small bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder and baking powder until completely combined.

Add in milk and combine well with a spoon. Now add brown sugar and mix. Add peanut butter and vanilla, and combine until smooth.

Transfer the batter into a microwave-safe mug, gently pressing down until the top is even and add chocolate chips on top.

Microwave on high for one minute. Allow to cool for a couple of minute before eating. You can put some peanut butter on top, like I did.
