The meeting was held at the Rangers headquarters on Dr Ziauddin Ahmed Road and attended by senior police officers, paramilitary force and intelligence agencies.

The participants exchanged views on the security plan to ensure law and order, and meet any eventuality during the holy month.

“During the meeting, a joint strategy for the elimination of street crimes was also reviewed,” a statement issued after the meeting said.

The participants stressed the need for improving coordination among all law enforcement agencies to curb street crimes.
