LAHORE: Waqas Mehboob outclassed Kashif Asif in the Punjab National Squash Championship final here at the Punjab Squash Complex on Saturday.

PAF’s Waqas, the younger brother of Farhan Mehboob, took just 29 minutes to complete an impressive 11-4, 14-12, 11-8 victory against SNGPL’s Kashif. A close final was expected as both the players had exhibited fine squash in the lead-up to the decider. However, it all proved a one-sided affair as 25-year-old Waqas with better skills dominated his rival throughout the match.
