I WAS booked on PIA’s flight PK341 to Karachi from Faisalabad departing at 1500 hours on June 13. I reached the airport well on time only to learn that the flight had been delayed by almost two hours (1650 was the new time I was given). I returned to our office which is at a distance from the airport as waiting in the lounge did not seem a convenient option.

An hour later I went to the airport to catch the flight and was informed that the flight had been further delayed by more than an hour. The new time for departure was 1800 hours.

I pray in this modern age, the PIA management will have the courtesy to inform passengers of changes in the flight schedule through voice, sms or email to save them from unnecessary bother.
