FOR the past 10 days or so, the road leading to Jati Umra is closed between 7am and 8am by police, and traffic is redirected to a narrower parallel road, on which the running of heavy two-way traffic is dangerous.

The concerned officials are requested to look into why a public road is used for the exclusive benefit of one particular family with VVIP status and their guests. This act is highly inconvenient to people living in the vicinity as well as to Sundar Industrial Estate.
