Huawei launches P20 Pro, world's first triple camera phone in Pakistan

Huawei held a photography exhibition in Lahore where it announced the launch of its flagship P20 Pro model — featuring a revolutionary Leica triple camera. The event showcased the work of budding photographers who had who used the newly launched Huawei devices to encapsulate Pakistan’s rich beauty.

The event was attended by media personalities and industry enthusiasts who took keen interest in the pictures on display, and appreciated the work of photographers. Addressing the audience, Huawei Consumer Business Manager Blueking Wang said, “With a breakthrough triple camera, and powerful artificial intelligence, today’s most vibrant consumers can capture and share the brilliance of the world around them with ease.”

The advanced camera system of Huawei P20 Pro allows users to capture more light, more details and more beauty. Artificial Intelligence (AI) image stabilisation eliminates shaky shots and enables steady handheld night shots without a tripod.

Featuring a Leica triple camera with the highest total pixel count on a smartphone available in the market, P20 Pro vows to enhance the smartphone photography experience.

It is pertinent to mention that the photographers, whose work was showcased at the event, were not professional lensmen but had the passion and knack for taking photos.

Mavikh Azam, an engineering student, had his pictures showcased which were taken on the theme of minimalism. Hasan Zahid, a doctor by profession, took photos to depict the colours of street life in Lahore. The work of Marvi Soomro, a social worker, preserved simple things such as light as it falls on a wall, shadows, lines, symmetry and faces.

According to a statement issued by Huawei, P20 Pro makes use of Kirin 970 processor which automatically identifies more than 500 scenarios in 19 categories and selects photography modes and camera settings to deliver incredible, professional-looking images – even for novice photographers.

The device also supports six-axis stabilisation and 960fps (frames per second) super slow motion, which is four times higher than the standard 240fps and captures details that cannot be seen with the naked eye, read the statement.
