Shehzad Roy, Hareem Farooq and more reveal their PSL faves

There's lots of support for Multan Sultans, the newest team on the block!

We're all feeling the PSL fever coming on and our celebs are no different.

Speaking at the artists' press conference held in Dubai today, stars like Shehzad Roy and Bilal Ashraf dished on their favourite teams.

Shehzad Roy, of course, is all about Karachi Kings since he's lent his voice to their anthem. "I support Karachi Kings because I've sung their anthem along with Shahid Afridi. Apart from that, Shoaib Malik is a favourite player of mine, so I'll be supporting the new team Multan Sultan."

Bilal Ashraf, on the other hand, has his eyes on Multan Sultans: "I want to see what the new team has to bring, with Wasim Akram [as director] and Shoaib Malik as the captain, they do have a good side and I really want to see what they do."

He added that he also had a soft spot for Quetta Gladiators "because they were the underdogs" in the first season and Peshawar Zalmi that he thinks is a great team. "Zalmi brings that star power, but I really want to see what the team does without Lala (Shahid Afridi, who's since switched sides to Karachi Kings)."

Even though he's meant to be impartial, PSL Chairman Najam Sethi also let slip who he'd like to see qualify as the finalists!

"Naturally, the cliche is 'may the best team win'. Having said that, it's a bit like India and Pakistan. If Karachi and Lahore end up in the finals, that would be really something. On the other hand, both teams have not done very well in the past. The earlier champsionships were won by Islamabad and Peshawar. Therefore, it's an open-ended game. All the six teams are neck to neck. It could be anybody's game."
