HARIPUR: The police have yet to find clue to the attackers who assaulted district nazim Adil Islam on Saturday evening.

Mr Islam was going home in his vehicle in Ghazi tehsil after attending a ceremony at Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Hall to express solidarity with the families of martyred children of APS Peshawar when at around 8.30pm unknown attackers opened fire at his jeep.

One of the bullets hit his arm and he was shifted to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, Ghazi, from where the doctors referred him to a hospital in Islamabad.

He was discharged from the hospital on Sunday when the doctors declared his condition out of danger.

The Ghazi police have registered a criminal case against unknown attackers, but yet to trace the attackers.
