PESHAWAR: Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco) Chief Executive Officer Engr Shabir Ahmad on Saturday took oath from the firm’s employees that they would take correct meter-reading.

The employees of Peshawar, Khyber and Mardan circles, provincial chairman of hydro union Haji Mohammad Iqbal Khan, meter-reading supervisors and meter-readers attended the ceremony. CEO Shabir Ahmad said Pesco was shifting all its manual processes to automation, and for this purpose billing of 110 subdivisions had been shifted on mobile meters for billing accuracy and customer satisfaction.
