LAHORE: Veteran all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez has opted out of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) and has decided to play the domestic National T20 tournament in an effort to improve his bowling action after the ICC barred him from bowling in international games due to a suspect action.

Talking to Dawn News, Hafeez said: “I will not be going to BPL tomorrow to represent the Commila Victorians and instead will be working hard to improve my bowling action by playing domestic cricket matches. I am hopeful that I will soon be able to start bowling again after getting my action cleared through hard work.”
