KARACHI: The Pakistan Rangers, Sindh, on Friday claimed to have arrested five suspects, who had links with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London, for their involvement in criminal activities.

The paramilitary force conducted raids in Mehmoodabad, Defence and Darakshan areas and apprehended the suspects identified as Mushtaq Ahmed alias Mullah, Farrukh Ahmed alias Pawa, Mohammed Majid alias Tanki, Mohammed Waqas and Mohammed Afzal.

“The held suspects belong to the MQM-London,” claimed a spokesperson for the Rangers.

“They were involved in targeted killings, extortion, aerial firing, stockpiling arms, illegal collection of sacrificial animals’ hides and provision of illegal water connections,” the official added.
