SHEIKHUPURA: Four people were killed while two others sustained injuries in an accident, involving a car and a trailer, on the motorway near the Sheikhupura Interchange in the early hours of Friday.
The victims were going to Lahore from Sargodha in the car for Eid shopping. As they reached near the interchange, their car in a bid to overtake the trailer hit it.
As a result, Waseem, Mubashar, Ijaz and Ibrahim died on the spot while Abdul Rehman and Amir Javed suffered serious injuries.
The injured persons were admitted to hospital.
