GHALANI: The political administration officials along with Tarakzai tribal elders demolished houses of six suspected militants during a search operation in Ekkaghund tehsil of Lower Mohmand tribal region on Monday.

An official said the local administration conducted the operation in Michni Mosal Kor and other villages. Houses of at least six suspected militants were razed, he added.

However, the official did not name the militants whose houses were demolished during the operation. It is to be mentioned here that the security forces had launched a search operation after two suicide bombers struck an FC training school in Michni area, killing one security man and injuring four others.

The security forces have also claimed killing six suspected militants during a search operation in Mosal Kor area. Security is on high alert in the entire agency, where mobile phone services have also been suspended for last six days.
