BAHAWALNAGAR: The historic pre-Partition Mandi Saqid Gunj railway station, where the Quaid-i-Azam was kept under ‘house arrest’ for one day in 1946, is on the brink of collapse.

There used to be days when the station was a busy place. The historic room where the father of the nation spent one day, needs to be preserved, the area people demanded.

ARRESTED: The B-Division police arrested 13 Afghan nationals in Bahawalnagar on Friday, Javed Gujjar, station house officer said. They were arrested during a crackdown.
