Two killed in road accidents

KARACHI: A man was killed in a road accident in the Baloch Colony area on Monday.

Riaz, 48, was killed when a fast-moving dumper-truck hit him on Baloch Colony flyover.

The body was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for a post-mortem examination.

Earlier, a man was killed in a hit-and-run accident in the Mauripur area in the wee hours of Monday.

Saddiq, 45, son of Abdullah, was hit by a fast-moving vehicle on Mauripur Road. As a result, he sustained severe injuries.

He died on the spot. The body was shifted to the Civil Hospital Karachi for medico-legal formalities.
