Shahid Afridi recently announced that he is retiring from international cricket, and well, they say third time's a charm... right?

While Afridi fans might be upset over this (recurring) development, Twitter isn't. If you've been following Afridi's previous statements, you'll know that this is one announcement in a series of retirement plans he has told the media, no wonder people don't know what to believe in anymore.

However, this time, they are so done.

Confusion all around

Maybe fans can hold on to their tears.. for now

Even reporters don't take his retirement statements seriously anymore

Just a short summary of Afridi's announcements

His retirements are trivia facts now

He can add this to his countless other achievements. Oops

This is one divorce which is not going down well

Is there room to add another 're', just in case.

So does this mean he never left?

He's such a politician.... whats the point of again announcing mid way during a tournament that he's retiring from international cricket? Well obvious answer just because he finally performed in a match in PSL and made a fifty and that's why reminded people that he's retiring so that people will say Nooo Afridi don't go we need you or some would say Thank you Afridi for your greatness, we will miss such a player like you making brisk fifties and all. But the sensible public is not buying his new hopeless attempt to rejoin the team.

Sir The last survivor of Pakistan golden era of superstars has finally gone. Shahid Afridi arrived with a bang, developed as a boom boom and left with plenty of sweet memories for the cricket fan. As said by Danny Morrison "cricketing world would have liked to see shahid Afridi making full use of his talents and displayed more consistency in scoring big runs as he was always a pleasure to watch while he was at the crease. Thank you Lala for playing with honesty, dignity and passion. Regards
