The officers of grade 17 were appointed on positions reserved for grade 18 and 19 officers. All the transferred officers have been directed to report to their concerned divisional directors for further postings.

The junior officers were posted in the districts of Quetta, Pishin, Khuzdar, Kalat, Mastung and other districts.

The provincial government has yet to assign a senior officer as secretary education and a director of education.

It was revealed earlier that in an apparent violation of merit and rules, the Balochistan Education Department handed over "look-after charge" of several grade-19 posts to officials of grade-17
