The council also passed another resolution criticising the SDO highways for demolishing pathways to houses and damaging public properties on the pretext of encroachments from Daggar Chowk to Jowkhela Chowk. It was moved by opposition leader Sadiqullah Khan. The house also demanded transfer of the SDO from Buner district.

It also decided to distribute equally Rs130 million funds among 35 members, including youth, minority and peasant, while nine female members would be given Rs1.32 million each.

The council session was chaired by convener Yousaf Ali Khan while district nazim Obaidullah Khan, Gul Mohammad, Riaz Khan, Sadiqullah, Rashed Ahmed, Taj Farosh, Afsar Khan, Inamur Rehman, Tilak Chand Singh and Adnan Khan spoke during the session.

The members discussed various issues of public interest and hoped that the district government would resolve them.

The district nazim said that education and health were among their top priorities. He said that Buner would be made a model district and said that development work would be carried out at a fast pace.

The nazim asked the members to submit the priority list of schemes in their respective union councils so as to devise a comprehensive strategy for development of the district.
