Mahira Khan may not be in India promoting Raees, but her fellow Pakistani actors Adnan Siddiqui and Sajal Aly have just got visas to Delhi for the completion of their Indian film, the Sridevi-starrer Mom.

Adnan and Sajal, who play Sridevi's husband and stepdaughter in the film, will fly to India in February for the shoot of the climax scenes and a song, reported Mumbai Mirror.

Their visas did not come easily, according to the publication.

A source associated with the team revealed to Mirror, “It’s been about four months since the team has been waiting to wrap up the final schedule. In September, following the Uri attacks[...], Sajal and Adnan’s visas were rejected several times. Now they have obtained a visa for a month and will be flying to Delhi to shoot the final scenes and a song in February. The team is planning to wrap up the schedule by February 14 and release the film by May this year.”

Actor Vikas Verma, who plays the negative lead in the film, confirmed the news, “Yes, they (Sajal and Adnan) are required for the final scenes and have finally got a visa for a month to complete the shoot. It’s a very important scene and we have been looking forward to film.”

Mom is a drama about a stepmom in conflict with her 18-year old daughter. The film, produced by Sridevi and husband Boney Kapoor, will mark her 50 years in the industry. “The plan is to have a party on the sets after the shoot and a bigger party is being planned for later where all her industry colleagues from over the years are expected to show up,” the source also revealed.

As much as I want peace betweeen two counties.. did you guys have no work in Pakistan? Pakistan and India can not be friends until, Kashmir issue is resolved which I don't see happening in our life time sadly. But I believe there a lot of love spreader in both sides too. So I am optimistic.

Positive step in right direction. Instead of negative thinking and publicity of negative news if media concentrate on promoting friendship we can have harmony and peace. Parties and politicians have their hidden agenda for which public and people become victim and suffer. This is true on both Pakistan and Indian sides. Let the people on both side live their lives.

Adman is superb in his acting and can be a threat to actors in his age group. But he is sensible to say he's going to Bollywood to contribute in the area he's good, unique and therefore irreplaceable. No tremors and worries please.

Adnan,Sajal, Fawad & Mahira Khan are great actors and are a hit in the box office. The Bollywood producers are businessmen and all they care about is box office draw. I very much look forward to see these Pakistani actors in Indian movies.

@Syed In case you did not know this, but thousands actors and actresses working across numerous TV channels in Pakistan. You don't need to get excited that he is working there, could it be possible he was the one they wanted period? Should we say our actors are better, hence the demand. Its the directors choice and if the actors see fits, he does the work and gets paid and both sides are happy.
