CHITRAL: Peshawar Corps Commander Lt-Gen Nazir Ahmed Butt visited Swat, Dir and Chitral to review the relief work being undertaken in the wake of the heavy snowfall.

According to a press release issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the corps commander was given briefing on operations, progress on establishment of Swat cantonment and relief work being undertaken in the wake of the heavy snowfall, including the construction of Lowari tunnel. During his two-day visit, Gen Butt interacted with troops deployed on the forward posts and expressed his satisfaction with operational performance and morale of troops.
