LAHORE: Traffic police have trained over 1,000 teachers and educated nearly 17,000 students on traffic rules in its public awareness.
Traffic DIG retired Capt Syed Ahmad Mobin stated this while addressing the students of the College of Home Economics, Gulberg, on Tuesday.
According to a press release, he said the youth could be educated about the traffic rules and regulations only with the help of parents and teachers.
“The city traffic police initiated this campaign to educate the youth and for this purpose the traffic police officers and traffic wardens are educating the students in educational institutions through lectures, pamphlets and videos,” Mr Mobin said.
College Principal Prof Dr Ambreen also spoke.
