Capturing the bee

This is regarding the article “How to capture the bee” by Ambreen Arshad, (YW, December 10, 2016). It was a very interesting article and I learnt a lot from this article about how to prepare for the competition.

I always wait for YW magazine because I like the stories, quotes, quiz and other things in it. But the Quiz page was missing from this issue so I felt disappointed about this.

Stung by the bee

This is with reference to the story “Stung by the bee” by Haris Shahid (YW, December 10). This story was really impressive.

It is true that losing with pride is better than winning by cheating. We feel a kind of guilt when we win by cheating.

Greed makes you weep

This is with reference to the story “Greed makes you weep” by Muneeba Ismail Kharbey (YW, December 3). I really appreciate the writer for highlighting the fact that if you give in to your greed and keep wanting for more, the results would lead you to nothing and you would end up crying for your selfish emotions.

We don’t give much heed to our own actions which are sometime out of greed or selfishness, thus they could hurt others and embarrass us someday. So it is better to always judge our actions and always try to be caring and helpful to others.

Cheese monster

This is regarding the story “The cheese monster” by Kashaf Sameen (YW, November 26). An amazing story I must say, the writer came up with something new and unusual, and also, it had a happy ending. I would like to request the writer to write more stories with unusual and wonderful ideas.

Life lessons

This is regarding the story “Life lessons” by Wafaullah Mirbahar (YW, December 17). The story depicted the true state of kids these days.

However, the story had a happy ending, in reality, a happy ending is not likely. First of all, if kids get friendly with kids who are not serious about studies, they lose interest in studies for years and keep doing fruitless activities. It is only after years of better and non-stop guidance that they are able to get their life back on the right track.

So, in my opinion, parents should keep a close watch on their kids as school years are the most crucial time in one’s life.
