MINGORA: Families here on Tuesday received the bodies of five workers who were killed when a ship caught fire at Gadani ship breaking yard in Balochistan.

According to Kabal police, the victims included Mohammad Saeed,47, Saeed Khan, 49, Sabir Khan, 44, Pastan Khan, 35, and Talib Jan, 30. They belonged to Qalagay union council.

Meanwhile, a man died as a wall of his house collapsed in Asharnur area of Kabal tehsil. The victim was identified as Raza Khan, police said.

In another incident, a woman identified as Rukhsana, 25, succumbed to her injuries she sustained in a fire incident at her home located at Arkot area of Matta tehsil.

The hospital sources said 13 other members of her family had also received burns in the fire caused due to explosion of an LPG cylinder.
