HYDERABAD: CIA police have arrested three drug dealers and recovered around 70kg charas and 25kg of opium worth Rs30 million following a brief encounter near the Sattar Shah graveyard on Tuesday.

Hyderabad CIA incharge Aslam Langah told reporters that Javed Solangi, Khadim Hussain and Ghulam Sarwar were arrested from near the Sattar Shah graveyard while their two accomplices Bilawal Mallah and Ghulam Rasool fled.

Three cars were impounded along with the drugs seized from their possession allegedly.

He said they were taking narcotics to Tando Mohammad Khan and on receiving information, two police parties were deputed at their route of travelling where the encounter took place.
