I really cannot understand why this very untalented and unattractive woman is made into some type of celebrity actress? I don't care about her name but she is lacking the basic requisites to be any type of star.

Good one. I wonder what made her spell Hocane that way. It can only be pronounced Ho-Cane, with K sound, as Cane is a proper word. If she really wanted to sound it like Hossain with a quaint spelling then Ho-Sane would have made some sense!

She is not fit for acting, she is overacted in many serials. Who selected her in showbiz ? She just impeccable for this profession. Have some merit !

Isn't that her father's name? So why is the poor girl being ridiculed for a name given to her by her parents. Secondly, for those high and mighty amongst us who just cannot deal with any lack of conformity to desi/Pakistani norms, has it occurred to any of you that perhaps her family has Turkish origins and that they decided to stick to the Turkish spelling convention for their family name? Anyone?

I'm not a big follower of Pakistani show biz and very honestly, until I read this article I thought it was pronounced "Hokane" or "Hokanay".

@analyses good point but not applicable to proper names. They can be spelt any way by the owner. Ali is spelt Ally, Aly.. and no need to throw in the Basic English remark... :-)
