KARACHI: The October Cup tops the five-race card that has been drawn for the Gymkhana race meeting which is slated to take place at the Karachi Racecourse on Saturday.

The meeting has been brought forward by a day to avoid clash with possibly sighting of Moharram moon on Sunday.

A field of eight horses will face the starter in the October Cup — Scale Order IV and V — to be run over five furlongs. This is the fourth race in order.

At the outset, three horses — Almeer, Vampire and Blue Berry – will make their debut in the opener.

According to programme, the first race starts at 4pm.
