LAHORE: The six-day All Pakistan Music Conference concluded here at Alhamra Art Centre, The Mall, on Saturday.

Fabulous performances were seen by the audience on the last day which saw not only the prize distribution ceremony but also a string of amazing live performances by accomplished singers. Folk, light classical and classical singers gave performances enthralled the audience until the morning.

Javed Ahmed Qureshi Trophy for best school under 10 was won by the City School, New Muslim Town, Raja Ghazanfar Ali Trophy for school over 10 was bagged by Franciscon High School, Kot Lakhpat, Roshan Ara Begum Shield for best classical vocalists for schools, colleges and universities was won by Samia Meraj, Syed Wajid Ali Trophy was bagged by University of Punjab. Hayat Ahmed Khan Trophy was bagged by Alhamra Art Centre.

There were performances too on the concluding night as woman Dhol player, Puria, entertained the audience to the maximum. There were instrumental performances too on the night. The performances were going on when this report was filed as on the last night of the music conference, the singers and artistes continue performing until the morning.
